Ms. Radner is a 24 year old woman who is in the ED waiting for the results of her 21
year old sister who was injured during a shooting on the grounds of her college campus.
Ms. Radner was informed by the medical director that her sister was dead on arrival and
that there was nothing further that could be done. The nurse manager then met with Ms.
Radner to ensure her psychological safety during this crisis.
