There are many interesting aspects about the Ancient Egyptian culture that can
be learned. Your task for this project will be to choose specific assignments from
five areas of the Ancient Egyptian culture.
The five areas are:
1) Daily Life
2) Religion
3) Arts and Architecture
4) Transportation
5) History and Politics
-

Each area of the project will have a variety of different topics to choose
from.
o Each assignment will have to thoroughly researched
o Each assignment has a specific point value based on its difficulty

For your project, you will have to select one assignment from each area
that totals to 150 points.

For each assignment, you will have to use a minimum of TWO sources.
For example, you may use both books and the Internet for your topic, but
you MUST have at least one of your sources being a book. You must also
keep track of your sources using the bibliography template attached.

Some assignments require you to construct a model. If you want to

construct a model (for example: a pyramid), you will have to complete
that portion of your project AT HOME. You can only do ONE model in the
whole project.

You need to have one of each topic in your overall project (example: you
cannot have all topic #1 in your project you need to have one from each
topic)

You will be responsible for submitting an assignment every 3 to 4 Social

Studies classes. Class time will be provided, but you will need to dedicate
time at home to ensure your BEST work is submitted. Incomplete portions
of this project will not be accepted.
