Late-Breaking News About Final Cut Express HD 3.5


This version of Final Cut Express HD is designed to run natively on both PowerPC-based
and Intel-based Macintosh computers.
Note: Final Cut Express HD 3.5.1 is a maintenance release that improves performance
on Intel-based Macintosh computers.

Using Compressor with Final Cut Express HD


Compressor is not included with Final Cut Express HD. If you plan to install Compressor
from another software package (such as DVD Studio Pro) for use with Final Cut Express HD,
make sure you install Compressor 2 or later.
Important: The Export Using Compressor command is available regardless of what
version of Compressor you have installed. However, Final Cut Express HD 3.5 and
Motion 2 are not compatible with Compressor 1.2.1 or earlier.

Updating QuickTime
QuickTime 7.1 or later is recommended for this version of Final Cut Express HD.
