TheApollo13MissionisaspaceexplorationmissionthatconductedbyNASAin1970to
explorethecraterontheMooncalledtheFraMauro.ThisExplorationhasappealedtomyteam
andIinmanyways,thistopicincludestheeverexpandinguniverseandmanyinteresting
topics.ThisProjecthasopenedourmindstoacknowledgetheSpaceProgramthattheUShad
puttogetherandfurtherextendthisknowledgeofwhatlaysoutinthenightskyandbeyondthat.
TheGovernmenthasgoneandputmanyofbillionsofdollarstowardsbeatingothercountries
notonlytothemoonputtootherplanets.Inthepast10yearsalonewehaveputroverson
marsandhavehadsatellitessoarpastPlutoandevenfurtherpastoutofoursolarsystem
takingverydelicatepicturesandinformationthatcanbecrucialtothefutureoftheSpace
ProgramandmaybeevenwheretheHumanscango.

MostofourProjectincludesresearchfromthevastinternet.Theresearchandresources
ofourprojectcomefromNASAemployeesthatwerepartoflaunchcontrolorgroundcontrol
andevenlivedialoguefromtheAstronautstotheOfficialsonthegroundcontrollingmostofthe
missionfromNASA.TheNASApayedabigroleonourresearchforourprojectbecauseofthe
amountofcorrectinformationofthemission,includingthecrew,backupcrew,payload,
prelaunchmilestones,launch,orbit,landingandetc.
TheNASAwebsitegaveusmissionhighlightsasin55hours,55minutesintothe
mission,theoxygentankNo.2blewup,causingtheNo.1tanktoalsofail.Thecommands
modulesnormalsupplyofelectricitylightandwaterwaslost,andtheywerealsoabout200.000
milesawayfromearth.Althoughwikipediacanbefalseinformation,itplayedaroleinresearch
forourprojectandsodidmanyyoutubevideosofonApril11,1970oftheactualincidentapollo
13.
Theissueswithfindingresearchforourprojectwastryingtofindcorrectinformation.A
lotofinformationtendedtobefalseorwrittenbypeoplenoteveninNASA.Forexampleone
websitewrotetonsofinformationaboutApollo13,andsaidtheincidentoccurredonMay15.
1970whenitoccurredonApril11,1970.
OurtopicofApollo13fitsintothiscontestthemebecausewearetalkingabout
exploration.Andapollo13missionwastomainlyexplorethemoontodifferentcraters,although
thatmissionendedupbecomingafailduetoanexplosion.Ourtopicisimportantbecausethis
incidentwasthefirstmajorfailuresinspace.Duetoanoxygentankexplosionlotsdidgowrong.
Butattheendofthemissioneveryonewasaliveandokandtheydidaboardhome.
