"Community Greatly shocked and grieved at sad death of Mrs. Frost.

Mt. Moriah, Sept. 27 - When on the evening of the 16th, death so suddenly entered the
home of Orville Frost and took from it the beloved wife and mother, he made a break
in our circle which time will be slow to heal. As the news was phoned from home to
home it seemed to all to be incredible, but when forced to accept the truth of the
report our hearts all quivered as under a personal grief. Mrs. Frost was one of the
charter members of Mt. Moriah church. She always took a deep interest in the church
and everything pertaining to it's welfare. In council she was always wise and in
judgement charitable. Modest and unassuming in character, she had won a large
circle of friends during her residence of 43 years among us. the day following her
death would have been the 43rd anniversary of her marriage to Mr. Frost and the
16th anniversary of the marriage of their daughter Anna to C.W. Knight, of Maple
Grove, and the married children and grandchildren had all been invited to the old
home in honor of the day. The funeral services at the home on Tuesday, the 19th, were
conducted by Rev. W.F. Jones, of Carthage, assisted by the pastor Rev. E.E. Dagley,
after which a long procession of friends followed the remains to their resting place in
the Dunkard graveyard. The bereaved husband and children have the deepest
sympathy of their many friends."
