Students: cardboard, small objects for collaging


such as textured paper, string, etc., paint, Plexiglas,
Styrofoam, glue, paper for printing on

constructed on cardboard.

Learning Target-TSW learn the basics of doing holograph printmaking with a printing press and will know this
once he/she has 3 strong holograph prints.

Do Now-*Cover tables with fabric


*Take out tempera paint
*1 cup of water, rag, and brayer for every other student
Do NowPick 6 pieces of construction paper and take out your collograph print

Demo print, ghost print, multiple prints on one, monotype background, using water bottles

Students pair up and use same colors & do 6 prints

Learning TargetTSW learn how to do cereal box printing techniques and will know this once he/she has 3
strong examples of each technique learned.

*Cover tables with fabric


*Take out tempera paint
*1 cup of water, rag, and brush for every other student
*1 palette per student

Demo cereal box printing, carving, using tools to carve onto plate, etc.
Cut out shapes and do prints using the different methods

*1 palette per student
