ED 315 PROFESSIONAL FIELD EXPERIENCES

Evaluation by Cooperating Teacher

1. Conducts self in a professional manner. (e.g., attendance, preparation, respect)
Ms. Checker always conducted herself in a professional manner. For example, she was early and
emailed her lessons to me before conducting them. She was well prepared and the students truly
enjoyed her lessons.
2. Encourages development of a positive self-image in learners. (e. g., gets to know students,
positive interactions with students)
Ms.Checker established a positive relationship with all students. She found ways to connect with
them in order to better motivate them to be successful.
3. Interacts effectively with students, colleagues, administrators, parents.
Ms. Checker actively sought feedback on her lessons and incorporated any advice given towards
future lessons.
4. Demonstrates effective teaching skills at the field student level. (e.g., planning,
implementing lesson)
Ms. Checkers lessons were well thought out and planned. They were aligned with the common core
state standards and were executed with skill. She knew when to modify lessons according to the
needs of the students.
5. Communicates effectively through speaking, writing, and listening modes.
Ms. Checker communicated with students in effective ways to encourage them to reach their
maximum potential.
Final comments/suggestions for student:

Ms. Checker will make a wonderful teacher. She is patient and kind and understands how the
smallest details can make the biggest impact on reaching students.
