Bullyingisaphenomenonthatshappenedtoallofusinsomestagesofourlife.Whetherits
physical,
mental,orpsychological,weveexperiencedsomeformofbullying.Togetawayfromthistrauma,
Canadiansshouldtakethetimeoutoftheirdaytobreakupconfrontationsofthese
circumstancesiftheyareofnonviolentnature.Ifyoustopanaltercation,itcouldleadtoa
developmentinleadershipskills.Usuallystudentswhobreakupfightsontheplaygroundtendto
becomesuccessfulinteamworkenvironments.AccordingtotheNationalEducationAssociation,
breakingupsaidfightsshowscourage,compassion,andmaturity.Itshowscouragetospeakupfor
others,despitewhatmaybepopularandtostandupinthefaceofgreatpeerpressure.Itdisplays
compassionforthevictimbybeingabletopictureoneselfinthesamesituation,andunderstanding
how
thatindividualmustfeel.Thistypeofmaturitystemsfromagoodselfesteem,asapersonwith
confidenceandbeliefinhim/herselfwouldnotneedtostooptoinsultingordegradinganotherin
order
toelevatethemselves,rather,theselfassuredpersonstoppingthebullyingishappywiththemselves
andwouldnotwishorneedtodegradeanother.Whilelookingatbullyingasastandpointinbusiness,
it
couldalsobelookedatasfantasy.Typicallyinthebullyingarena,whenyousavesomeoneslife,you
areconsideredahero.Thisexaggerationisareality.Ifyoulookatthephoto,thegentleman
stepping
incalmlyintercedesandhasthecouragetosay,Stop!endingthingsquicklyanditmakesthisa
heroic

act.Thisprovesthatyoucanbeanybodytostopanaltercationandbeingconsideredaherowhile
doing
it.This,notonlymakesyoufeelgood,butshowsprideasifyouwereahero.
Bullying,minorormajor,stillcanshowashockvaluetohowfurtheritcango.Evenifyouhaveafear
of
steppinginwhilethisistakingplace,youshouldalwaysstepforwardandhaveavoice.Ourhuman

emotionscanchangerapidly.Whenfacedwithsomeoneinarage,forinstance,apoliceofficerfacing
daytodaysituationswherepeopleareoutofcontrolandraging,weknowfromwatchingtelevision
and
realityshowsthatifapoliceofficeriscalmandcontrolledyetfirmhecanmanytimeturnawayragein
people.Onemustcalmlybutfirmlydirectapersontonotchanneltheirangertowardsanotherina
physicalmannerbutrathertoresolvedifferencesinamaturefashion.Thedrawnphotoindicatesa
spiritualmandeterminedtoresolvethesituationrespectfully,kindlyusingtactanddiplomacy
without
beingafraid,ashisstrength.
NowthatwehaveexploredthatCanadiansarefacedwiththesekindsofsituationsdaily,ifcalmly
intercedingcanbedone,andwecanstepinwithoutdangerofpersonalinjury,thenwe,asasociety,
needtostepin,notonlytosavesomeoneswellbeing,butalsotopotentiallyeducatetheopposing
aggressorastothecorrectbehaviourforconflictresolution,andhowyoushouldtreatoneanother
unlessthereisviolentbehaviouratwhichtimepoliceshouldbecalled.
