School).Thisarticleisleaningmoretowardslogic/logos.Theauthorusesinductivelogic,
becauseheismakingmultipledatapointsabouthow1:1schoolingisthebestroutetogofor
learning.Ittalksaboutallthereasonswhyitisbetterthanjustlearningoutofbooks,it
offers
powerfulcollaborativeandinclasspossibilities.ThelaptopPCexpandsthenumberofavailable
opportunitiesforstudentstocollaborateandlearninwaysthatsuitthembest,givingthem
confidenceandhelpingthemachievetheirfullpotential(GreensboroDaySchool).Theauthor

fellowcolleagues.SheusesDeductivelogosbecauseshegivesallherpointsandthenbriefly
talksaboutwhatallthedatasaysasawhole,sheusesdifferentgraphstoshowherresults.For

Schoolsaroundtheworldareatlonglastembracingtheimplementationof1:1
computing.However,manyofthebestintentionsarestymiedbyalackofleadership,narrow
visionandaninabilitytocommunicateambitiousgoalsthatjustifytheinvestmenttocautious
stakeholders(Stager).Whilereadingthisarticleinoticethatitisfor1:1schoolingbutitsalso
sayingthatweshouldn'tfullychangehowteachersshouldteach.Inadditiontothelaptops,
teacherswillbeencouragedtouseotherprimarysourcematerialsinthecurriculum(Stager).
UsingotherprimarysourcesarestillusingTextbooksincertainclassroomssuchasscience,
english,math..etc.Stagerusesdeductivelogic,Ithinkthisbecauseofthewayhepresentshis
logictohisreader,Thelaptopsofferthepotentialtodayforstudentstoengageintherealwork
ofmathematicians,scientists,composers,filmmakers,authorsandengineers(Stager).For
Pathoshesays,Everychildinourdistrictshouldbetaughttoprogramcomputersand
understandthecriticalrole..(Stager).LastlyforEthoshegiveshisopiniononthecertain
questionsaskedabout1:1schooling.Abouthowitworksandthenecessities.Toconcludethis
article,Iwouldsayithelpedmeunderstandthefullmeaningof1:1schooling.
