Periods of heavy rainfall exceeding 50mm in 24hours are likely to

continue within the specified days.

Lindi, Mtwara and southern parts of Pwani and Morogoro regions.

Further enhancement of the rainfall making mechanism - The Intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) over the mentioned areas. Due to
recent heavy rains, additional rains are very likely to cause floods.

The risk of short periods of heavy rains may occur over few areas of
Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara and Mara regions.
Residents of mentioned areas are advised to take necessary precautions.
TMA will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates when
necessary.
