Most shampoos including Dermaveen contain SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate) which can cause skin irritation in some people. However, many of the
SLS-free formulations contain natural fragrances that can be worse than SLS for those with salicylate sensitivity. Dermaveen products are
recommended by the RPAH allergy clinic - the guidelines for personal care products are: if you feel a stinging sensation on first application,
discontinue use.
