Taking directions of a house

The first thing to do is to look at the faade of the house and decide which is the facing side of the
house. Then take a compass, stand with your back towards the house, facing out and take the direction
of the house (eg. North). After taking the direction, superimpose the direction into 9 boxes over the
house plan.

Superimpose the direction over a house plan

First of all take a house plan and draw 9 equal grids over the plan. Mark the facing direction (e.g. North)
of house onto the plan.
Example:
i) Facing direction North

ii) Fill up the remaining sector with the rest of the directions. These will be the sectors of the house.

Another example: This is the chart of how a house facing South West will look like.

You are now able to find out which part of your house belongs to which sector. This will enable you to
find out which sector is good for you.
