Comments:
Haley,
As in your self-assessment of your first lesson, this second selfassessment shows sophisticated understanding of the theory and how
it applies to your practice. You discussed how Vygotskian Theory
guided your planning process and again reflected on the effectiveness
of your instruction in relation to student learning and the theory. You
also allude to the theory in your discussion of your assessment
techniques.
A strength of your self-assessment is the detail you provide to
support your thinking. This type of reflective practice certainly allows
you to more deeply understand the relationships among the theory,
your own practice and student performance.
This is another distinctive performance, Haley. You again put a great
deal of time and effort into the whole planning, teaching, and reflection
process for this second lesson. Your understanding and growth as a
teacher is clearly evident! Kudos!
