NOIDA
INTRODUCTION
With a population of over 1.8 million, Noida is one of the largest planned industrial townships of Asia
surrounded by greenery; it has the fastest growing GDP in Delhi-NCR.
There are plans to make Noida a popular tourist destination by reinventing forgotten monuments and
religious places in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Noida will also have Noida Leisure Park, Sector 117, near
Greater Noida & Noida Haat, Sector 33, Noida for leisure activities.
Noida Haat would be created on a pattern similar to Dilli Haat but it would be a modern haat.
The allotment of space to artisans and sellers would also be for a fortnight. Shops would be allotted
on 15 days' basis.
To be built on the lines of Dilli Haat in New Delhi, Shilp Haat will be a one-stop venue for artisans
from across the country to display, exhibit and sell their products.
Spread over 25,000 sqm, Noida Haat will host art exhibitions and stalls of craftsmen from different
states and SAARC countries.
The proposed site is situated along the shivalik marg running between th the proposed site and
the Wave City Center Mall in Sector 32.
