We can be easily found in the assembly hall. We open at 8.15am and close approximately 9.15am (you can always knock on the roller door at the side of the canteen if it is closed). The canteen offers a variety of nourishing lunches. Late orders can be made but choices may be limited. Eftpos is now available. We also have Online ordering which when registered you can order for up to 2 weeks, Lunches or Uniform. More information follows on next page. Orders are taken before school commencing at 8.15am. Our plan operates as follows: your child’s name and classroom number are written on the lunch bag together with lunch items including “healthy extras” eg fruit, drink, ete If your child prefers he/she may bring a resealable plastic bag with the above information written on a piece of paper that faces out OR the above information written on the face of an envelope, with correct money inside (please make sure the money placed inside the envelope is secured — edges are taped down or stapled so money cannot fall out). Change will not be given to envelopes posted to letter- box on counter. The lunch basket is collected from the canteen at approximately 12.25 (lunch is at 12.30) and taken back to the classroom where lunches are handed out. Mistakes do happen occasionally, please tell your child to come to Canteen and sort it out on the day. “Booking up” a lunch order is discouraged NO CREDIT will be given , however, in an emergency it is allowed on the understanding that itis paid for the NEXT DAY. A lunch that is being booked up will be either a sandwich or a roll and no extras will be allowed. For example, you can have a sandwich or a roll but you cannot book up a drink or muffin. This will be regardless of whether you phone the order in, send a note in with your child/ren or whether you personally write the lunch order out at the canteen. Eftpos is now available. The canteen is open at morning recess and sells items as printed under “HEALTHY EXTRAS”. It would be appreciated if parents of younger children especially from years 1 to 3 discuss with them before school what they would like to buy with their recess money.
