MRS. EVA FROST CONWAY SUCCUMBS AT 65

Funeral Will Be Tomorrow at Ulmer-Drake Home With Dr. Clinton in Charge

Mrs. Eva Frost Conway, 65, life-long resident of Jasper county, died at 4:35 yesterday afternoon at her home in Morgan Heights. She had
been in ill health the last eight months and had been bedfast virtually all of that time.
Mrs. Conway was born July 18, 1869 on a farm northwest of Carthage. She was a daughter of the late Orville Frost, prominent farmer and
a pioneer resident of Jasper county, who died July 26, 1934 at his home northwest of the city.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kitty C. Guinn and Mrs. Edna Bates, both of Joplin route 1; a son, Ivan Conway of Carthage route
5; five sisters, Mrs. Ada Plummer of Van Buren, Indiana; Mrs. Anna Knight, Mrs. Edith Case and Mrs. Myrtle Harbison, all of Carthage route
2, and Mrs. Bird Bates of Joplin route 1; five brothers, Elmer Frost of Boise City, Idaho and George, Frank, Arthur and Walter Frost, all of
Carthage route 2; and four grandchildren. Dr. W. B. Post of Carthage is a cousin. Mrs. Conwway was a member of the First Methodist
Episcopal Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ulmer-Drake Funeral Home. Dr. W. G. Clinton will be in charge. The
Sweet sisters will sing. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery, north of Carthage.
