Provided nursing assessment, care and assistance with acts of
daily living to elderly residents living in a retirement
community. Examples of skills include, therapeutic
communication, blood glucose monitoring, and medication
administration.
Provided nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit.
Skills include medication administration, nursing assessments,
and documentation on a computerized MAR.
Provided nursing care to patients on a psychiatric unit. Skills
included assessment, documentation on a computerized MAR,
and recognition of the importance of HIPPA in this clinical
setting.
Provided nursing care to homeless individuals at Our
Community Place. Skills included education, blood pressure
auscultation and blood sugar checks. Also included a clinical
site for chronic illness patients. Skills included assessment and
medication administration.
