John Fitzgerald Kennedy was one of those guys who didn’t like to be bullied
  by anyone!

  Kennedy turned to Cuba with the Alliance for Progress in 1961. BASICALLY it
was a Marshall Plan for Latin America. The Alliance was supposed to boost the
relationship between NORTH and SOUTH America in order to counter the
threat from CUBA!!!
