Marcia Mallinson married Henry Emmett Williams during World War II. If it sounds like
she was a war bride, she was. Henry Williams served in the US Army (on the military
grave marker) or US Air Force (on the head stone). Since the Air Force was established
after WWII (the Army Air Corps being the forerunner), I will assume that he remained in
the service for several years after the end of hostilities. I have not been able to locate any
military records for Mr. Williams.

They were married about 64 years and apparently had beloved pets as their images were
incised on the headstone. Their burial site is in Gower Cemetery, Buchanon County,
Missouri. Henry died on August 1, 2006 just shy of age 91.
