To Whom It May Concern:
It is without hesitation that I write this letter of recommendation for Andrew Larson. Andrew is
in my Computer Maintenance Technology I, (CMT I) class at Grundy Area Vocational Center,
(GAVC). He is a pleasure to have in class and is genuinely interested in learning.
Andrew is an exceptionally bright student. He contributes pertinent information to class
discussions. He comes to class prepared and uses his time in class wisely. Much of this class
involves project-based and/or problem-based learning activities. Andrew always takes an active
role in these real-world assignments. He enjoys facing and overcoming challenges. Many times,
in class, students find it necessary to research a particular problem and find possible solutions.
Andrew uses the resources available to him and tries each possible solution until the problem is
solved. His interest in the subject area is refreshing. He is not afraid to learn and try new things,
and he is not afraid to ask questions.
Andrew is a friendly student and relates well with his classmates. He is generally a positive
influence on those around him. Andrew completes his assignments and does so in a timely
fashion. His work is neat and thorough. He exhibits mature work habits and self-discipline. His
attendance is exceptional.
I have no doubt that Andrew will succeed in whatever educational and career paths he decides to
pursue. I have no reservations about recommending him for any position he applies for. If you
have any further questions, please feel to contact me.
Sincerely,

Leanne Dammann

To Whom It May Concern:
It is my great pleasure to write this letter of support for Andrew Larsons application
for this internship.
I instructed Andrew in Integrated Science during the 2013-14 school year. He was
unquestionably one of the most able students in the class. His work was always
turned in on time, and he stood out among his peers for his eagerness to engage in the
process of learning and discovery. Andrew was a true pleasure to have in class.
As a student, Andrew was always more than happy to voice his own viewpoints
during class discussions, and he often asked me for further clarification of points I
covered in my lecture. In addition to his confidence and eagerness to learn, Andrew
also made a good impression on me due to his pleasant personality. He worked well
with classmates and teachers at all times, and I imagine that he will do the same if he
were to be accepted into this internship.
I therefore would like to express my support for Andrew Larson in joining this
internship.

Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:
Andrew Larson is a student in my Honors Chemistry class this year. He is a
hard working student, who makes it a priority to be in class. Andrew is
quiet, but works well with his peers. He is very interested in computers, is
taking courses in computer maintenance, and takes learning new things
as a challenge.
He is an intelligent, hard working young man that would be an asset to
your intern program. I feel strongly that Andrew will impress you with his
work ethic, if given the opportunity. If you have any questions, please
dont hesitate to contact me at the email below.
