Im Lily and Im a Guide. Thats like a Scout,


but its just for girls. Our uniform is different
and weve got different badges.
Im doing my Animal Active badge. I go to
the stables on Saturday morning with other
Guides. We help to clean the stables. Its
hard work, but we work together. We can
also feed the horses. My favourite horse is a
small brown horse called Lucy.

Im Jacob. I love being a Scout because I like


learning new things. Im doing my circus skills
badge. Its lots of fun. Im learning to juggle.
I practise every day after school, but I cant
practise in my bedroom!

helping dolphins. It was very
interesting.

Im a Guide in Canada. I go to an
International camp in the mountains
every summer. Ive got my outdoor
adventures badge. We walk in the
mountains, and we learn about
Canadian traditions and skills.

Orienteering is fun, but you have to be prepared. You need a


map and a compass. Practise reading a map before you start!
Orienteering is an activity that you do in the countryside. You
read a map and then you follow the route on the map. You can
walk or run. If you want to, you can race in teams.
