Representation of social
groups
The cast of our film (if we were to make it in full) would
primarily be male characters expressing violence and
behaving criminally which conforms to the fact and
stereo type that acts of violence and crime are mostly
perpetrated by males in society.
Furthermore the opening corresponds with the idea that
more youthful people are less wise and more foolish,
hence what got him into the situation that the films plot
revolves around in the first place.
In terms of race, our characters (as white British males)
are anti- stereotypes because, generally, light skinned
people are not associated with crime and violence.

Who would distribute the

film?
Our film was made and set in the UK, England and contains
violence and mature themes, therefore, it is likely that
institutions from the uk and companies who are comfortable
or specialise in distributing graphic or mature films would be
interested. These include New line cinema who are
responsible for thrillers like The Butterfly Effect and Se7en
and Paramount who represented the thriller Shutter Island.
Also a company called DP films and Film London who
contributed to British drama/ thrillers such as Ill- Manners
and Piggy
