AREAS OF STRENGTH:
1. Malissa is good at developing a nurse-client relationship with her patients. Both her and
her patients seem to interact comfortably with one another. This helps her to better
advocate for her patients which I see her doing regularly.
2. Malissa is very good with knowing her clients background and medications. Whenever
she asked about her clients condition she has an informed response showing an
understanding of her patient.
3. Malissa is good at communicating intra professionally with the nurses, in order to keep
them informed of the clients conditions.
AREAS OF WEAKNESS:
1. Malissa can improve on her suctioning her clients. It is something that is unsettling to her
and she should work on so she can provide trach care to her clients.
2. Malissa can improve on her health teachings, there hasnt been much opportunity for her
with her patients but is something that is important in the nursing profession and she
should try to work on.
3. Malissa can improve on her time management, at times she is rushed to complete wound
care or bed baths for some of her clients.
