Meaning of Allah .............................................................................................................................. 3
Q.1:
A.1:
Q.2:
A.2:
and the meaning of Allah: the owner of worship over all His
creation.
Q.3:
your Rabb?
A.3:
And from His signs: The night and the day and the sun and the
moon. And from His creations: The skies and the earth, and what
is between them.
And the evidence on that is His saying, the Most High: Indeed your
Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then
He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He
brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created)
the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the
Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin
(mankind, jinns and all that exists)! (Al-A'raf 7:54).
Q.4:
A.4:
And as He, the Most High, said: Verily, whosoever sets up partners in
worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire
will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there
are no helpers (Al-Ma'idah 5:72).
And the Shirk: is to set up a partner with Allah while supplicating
to him (the one being worshipped beside Allah), to hope in him, to
fear him, to rely on him, to desire from him beside Allah, and other
than that from the types of worships.
For the worship: is a comprehensive noun for everything that
Allah loves and is pleased with from the sayings and actions both
hidden and apparent.
And from it: is the supplication, and He, the Most High, said: And
the mosques are for Allah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allah
(Al-Jinn 72:18).
And the evidence for that supplicating to other than Allah is
disbelief, is as He, the Most High, said: And whoever invokes (or
worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then
his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in
Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will
not be successful (Al-Mu'minun 23:117).
And that is because the supplication is one of the best kind of
worships, as He, the Most High, said: And your Lord said: Invoke Me,
[i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for
anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My
5
worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islamic
Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation! (Ghafir 40:60).
And in the Sunnah: From Ans radi Allahu anhu (raised to the Prophet
sallallahu alayhe wa sallam): The supplication is the essence of the worship
[Related by At-Tirmidhi 3371, graded weak by Shaykh Albanee in Daeef
Al-Jame3a 3003], and the wording that sufficed from it is, The
supplication is the worship [Related by Imam Ahmed, 18368, and
authenticated by Imam Albanee in Sahih Al-Jame3a 3407], and it is the
best as evidence for the purpose.
And the first thing that Allah made obligatory upon His slaves: is
the disbelief in all that is worshipped beside Allah (Taagoot), and
belief in Allah, as He, the Most High, says: And verily, We have sent
among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming):
Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taagoot (all false
deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taagoot besides Allah) (An-Nahl 16:36).
And the Taagoot: is what is worshipped beside Allah, or the
shaytaan, soothsayer, and astrologer, and whoever rules by other
than what Allah sent down, and everyone who is being followed
and obeyed upon falsehood.
And the Imam Ibnul Qayyem may Allah, the Most High, have mercy
upon him, said: The Taagoot: is whatever by which the worshipper
exceeds in his limitation in terms of being worshipped, followed, or obeyed
(I3lam al-Mooqe3een 5/1).
Q.5:
A.5:
And the evidence on the obligation of Hajj: is His, the Most High,
saying: And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty
that mankind owes to Allah (Aali Imran 3:97).
And the principles of Emaan are six: that you believe in Allah,
His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, and in
the pre-destination, its good and its bad.
And its evidence is what is in the Sahih from the hadith of Umar
ibnul Khattab. Al-Hadith. [Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim]
Q.6:
A.6:
And He, the Most High, said: Say (O Muhammad) Allah Alone I
worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only and not to showoff, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship (Az-Zumar 39:14).
And He, the Most High, said: Say (O Muhammad): I am commanded
only to worship Allah (Alone) and not to join partners with Him. To Him
(Alone) I call and to Him is my return (Ar-Ra'd 13:36).
And He, the Most High, said: Say (O Muhammad to the polytheists,
etc.): Do you order me to worship other than Allah O you fools? And
indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad), as it was to those (Allah's
Messengers) before you: If you join others in worship with Allah, (then)
surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the
losers. Nay! But worship Allah (Alone and none else), and be among the
grateful (Az-Zumar 39:64-66).
And from the principle of Emaan is the safety from the disbelief:
The Emaan in Resurrection, Judgment, Recompense, Reckoning,
Paradise, and Hellfire are true.
He, the Most High, said: Thereof (the earth) We created you, and into it
We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again (Ta-Ha
20:55).
And He, the Most High, said: And if you (O Muhammad) wonder (at
these polytheists who deny your message of Islamic Monotheism and have
taken besides Allah others for worship who can neither harm nor benefit),
then wondrous is their saying: When we are dust, shall we indeed then be
(raised) in a new creation? They are those who disbelieve in their Lord! They
10
are those who will have iron chains tying their hands to their necks. They will
be dwellers of the Fire to abide therein (Ar-Ra'd 13:5).
And in the verse, there is evidence that whoever denies the
resurrection, committed disbelief that obligates the entering in the
Hellfire. We seek refuge with Allah from disbelief and actions of
disbelief.
So, these verses gathered an explanation as to what the prophet
sallallahu alayhe wa sallam has been sent with from the sincerity
of worship for Allah, and the prohibition of worshipping other than
Allah, and the restriction of worship to Allah, and this is his
religion which he called the people to, and struggled with them for
it, as He, the Most High, said: And fight them until there is no more
Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and
the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world].
But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is
All-Seer of what they do (Al-Anfal 8:39). And the fitnah: is the Shirk.
And Allah, the Most High, sent him at the head of 40 years of age,
and he called people to the sincerity (of worship of Allah) and
leaving of worship of whatever else beside Allah for 10 years, then
he has been ascended to the Sky, and the five daily prayers were
made obligatory upon him without there being an interdictory
between him and Allah, the Most High, in that. After that, he has
been ordered with migration, so they migrated to Madinah, and
then he has been ordered with the fighting in the way of Allah, so,
he fought in the way of Allah rightfully for about 10 years until
people entered the religion of Allah in large number.
11
So, when he completed 63 years of age, and Allah, the Most High,
perfected the religion, and he conveyed the message from the news
of Allah, the Most High, for him as to what is with Him, and
thereafter he passed away, may the prayers of Allah and His peace
be upon him.
And the first of the messengers is Nuh alayhis salam, and the last of
them is Muhammad may Allah sent His prayers upon him and his family
and peace.
As Allah, the Most High, said: Verily, We have inspired you (O
Muhammad) as We inspired Nuh (Noah) and the Prophets after him (AnNisa 4:163).
And He, the Most High, said: Muhammad is no more than a
Messenger (Aali Imran 3:144) and Muhammad is not the father of any
man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last (end) of the
Prophets. And Allah is Ever All Aware of everything (Al-Ahzab 33:40).
And the best of the messengers is our prophet sallallahu alayhe wa
sallam, and the best of people after the prophets sallallahu alayhim
assallam are: Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu, then Omar radi Allahu anhu,
then Uthman radi Allahu anhu, then Ali radi Allahu anhu, and may
Allah be pleased with them all.
And the best of generations is my generation, then those who
follow them, then those who follow them. [Reported by Al-Bukhari,
2652, and Muslim 6635, with wording: The best of people.]
12
And Isaa sallallahu alayhe assallam will descend from the sky and
will kill the Dajjal. [Hadith of descending of Isa alayhis salam and his
killing of the Dajjal, Imam Muslim reported it in his Sahih, 7560.]
And All Praises belong to Allah, the Lord of all that exist.
