If you were a poster

App-reciation Time

Decide upon 4 learning goals for

this Semester. I encourage you to
reflect on last year and to orient
your goals towards personal
organisation, social/emotional
growth as well as academics. Write
a brief paragraph about why you
have selected these goals & how
you will achieve them.

Create a poster all about you to

display in our classroom. You poster
should be entirely unique, just like you!
I would like you to ask your parents
what they think your 3 greatest
strengths are as a person and include
these on your poster. Some other
ideas for what to include could be
your: personality traits, family, skills,
hobbies, interests & passions.
Make it colourful and include pictures!

(pardon the pun!)

Record a list of your current top 10
apps (iPad or iPhone). List each
chosen app and write a brief
explanation for each choice. Please
come up with a variety (Games,
Photo/Video, Educational, Social
media, Lifestyle etc.)

intriguing. Include the photo when

brief explanation as to why you
chose to take this particular image.

Its time to start thinking about your

Graduation Diploma! Woo Hoo! Some
of you are feeling nervous about this
but don't worryyou will ease into it
this term. For now, have a
conversation with Mum & Dad about
what youre passionate about, what
makes you tick, what's something you
would love to explore! This is just a
conversation. You may like to make
some notes.

Read through the text What is the

difference between a solid, a liquid
and a gas? and highlight the main
points. Do not glue this in your HL
book, rather, glue it into your UOI
book to do some work on here at
school. In your HL book, record a
definition & picture example of each
state of matter (solid, liquid & gas).
