How do you ensure the cleanliness

of the facility?

firstly, you have to observe on where you

have to focus on cleaning. Its better to
have a checklist (store checklist) so you
can easily point out the main work like
merchandise, equipment, flooring, back
area, display and others.

What time do you clean this facility?

Do you have a schedule?

we dont have an actual schedule but

since the facility was not that big, we
allotted 45 minutes after the employees
clock-in and before the store opens, and
after the store close we have 30 minutes
before the employees clock-out we use
that time to clean, garbage were collected
after the store closes. General cleaning
were conducted overnight.

How do you ensure the

security of the costumers
and the employees of the
hardware?
For the security, since we are a small hardware store, we
have 2 security guards: 1 roving guard and 1 on the
entrance. Roll ups were surely enclosed and locked after
the store hours. Bag inspection on all employees were
implemented before they enter and exit the store, store
officers check the bags of the security guards. Security
guards and employees were oriented to be observant on
thieves and alike. CCTV were installed and there are
officers that are assigned to watch and review the incidents
so everyone can be aware.

Do you implement the

fire safety of this
facility?
Yes, the building conduct fire drills and earthquake drills
for safety awareness in case of fire. Since we are
located on ground floor and we have two entrances and
exits it is an easy access in case of emergency. For fire
extinguishers we have 2 fire extinguishers: 1 in the back
office and 1 in the costumers service area, aside from it
we sell fire extinguishers inside the store. Theres also
an electrical checking conducted if theres a failure in
lights. Employees were not allowed to use electricity in
the store aside for the product demo.

In what day and time you replenish

your supplies? When is the delivery
schedule?
We receive the delivery for outright
items on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 11 am to 5 pm, then after
checking the delivered items it is
recorded and displayed right after
putting bar codes. For the
concessionaires they can deliver any
day just as long as theres a
personnel/sales representative that
will receive the items.

How do you inspect the

products and qualities?
You check the quantity, quality, double check the
items versus the delivery receipt. Upon delivery
check the boxes if it is tampered or double
packaged because sometimes some items are
missing or broken at least you can immediately
call the manufacturers about the problem. For
the expiry items check the manufacturing date
because some items dont have expiration date
indicated so you rely on the manufacturing date.
