    Ohio state Sen. Bill Beagle (R) holds a wide lead in the GOP primary field in OH-08 with 20%, according to a poll his campaign released (Feb. 8-9; 300 likely RPVs; +/- 5.66%). Businessman Warren Davidson (R) and state Rep. Tim Derickson (R) each capture 8%, followed by 2014 candidate J.D. Winteregg (R) at 7%. All other candidates poll at 2% or lower in the survey, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies (R).

    But,withnearlyhalfoftheGOPelectorateundecided,thisracewilllikelybefluidandvolatileoverthe
    courseofthenextmonth.AslongasBeaglehassufficientfinancialresourcestocompetewithhis
    opponentsandcommunicateswithvotersabouthimself,hispolicypositionsandwhyhesrunning,
    thereislittlequestionthathecanbecometheGOPnomineeforCongress.
