Me as a Learner of English

Firstly I would like to begin by saying that I have very much enjoyed my time in
the English class world. I've learned so much, like how to express myself through
my writing, and how punctuation set the emotions for the reader. I've 'Iearned
how to separate Theme and Main idea, but the most challenging thing I've
learned while being the English class world is learning to be completely original.
I feel that I've improved in so many things when it comes to my writing. For
example, I didn't even know what Annotated Biographies were before I got here
and now I feel like if you asked I come do it. I also feel like my poem writing as
gotten a lot better. Not only have I gained a better vocabulary but now I could
word my poems exactly how I want.
I think when it came to me learning the English way, it was simple; not because I
feel like I was a genius or something, but because I actually wanted to learn more
and more about how to understand others writings and be understood by mine. I
am abso'l utely going to remember everything I've learned these past four years.
Thank you to my teacher for always believing in me. I will always appreciate The
English world and its lessons.

Now I know Ms. Cadag wanted me to

explain why I picked each

assignment individually but for
these next ~ , I chose them all
for the same reason. These
assignments required you to open
your mind, and to use your
imagination with lots of details;
to complete the beginning
sentence at the top of the paper.
I used to write all the time but
events in my life changed that. I
began to feel like the
imaginative part of me was
beginning to fade away. Until one
day as part of my grade Ms. Cadag
put one of these papers in front
of me and gave everyone ten
minutes to finish. Then for some
reason something clicked and I
finished the assignment and felt
proud of it. <3
