HEALTHWAY PHARMACIES TO PROVIDE MAIL-ORDER PRESCRIPTIONS TO
MARYLAND STATE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 15 HealthWay Pharmacies will provide prescription
services by mail to members of the Maryland State Employees Association
(MSEA) for the next four years. To accommodate the large increase in clients,
HealthWay Pharmacies will open a new handling facility in Rockville.

HealthWay has committed to opening a separate record-keeping and processing
facility for MSEA members. The new facility in Rockville will employ over 40
additional staff members, licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
HealthWays Mail-Meds service could double when more than 1 million MSEA
members begin using the services.

The business expansion qualifies for the governors New Jobs; New

facility from the Maryland Office of Economic Development.

The Mail-Meds program will provide MSEA members convenient and quick
