Read the text and answer:
Steve is a person who travels a lot. He has a blog called Notes from a trip. Read
about a trip he took to Stonehenge.
April, 19th
I arrived in London Yesterday and went to Stonehenge today. It took one hour
and twenty minutes from London.
Stonehenge is a magnificent and mysterious place. There are a lot of ancient
stones. There are a lot of ancient Stones. They are of different sizes.Some are
realy huge!
Before visiting the place we had a lecture about it and I learned about it several
things:
It was built around 5,000 years ago, and the enormous inner ring of
stones dates back to around 1,500 BCE. As people didnt write in those
days, we dont know how it was used.
There is no sigh of humans ever living there;
There are around 400 burial mounds nearby;
The stones may have been used as a sort of calendar to predict the
movement of the sun and the moon, and any eclipses;
on the longest day of the years from the center of the circle you can see
the sun rise over a huge stone. Its five meters high, called the Heel
Stone.
