forcedtowork.Sweatshopsareahorribleproblemworldwide.Inthisarticle,I
willexplainthefacts,Iwillintroducecelebritieswhohelp,andstudentsthat
wroteaboutsweatshops.finallyiwillexplainhowyoucanhelp.

Infall2013,studentsatmanyuniversitieslaunchedacampaignend
deathtrapstohelppreventsweatshops.Infallof2013,UnitedStudents
AgainstSweatshopslaunchedtheEndDeathtrapscampaigninresponse
tothemassiveworkersafetycrisisintheBangladeshgarmentindustrya
crisisthathaskilledatleast1,500garmentworkerssince2012.Thegoalof
thiscampaignisforcecollegelogoapparelbrandstosigntheBangladesh
SafetyAccord.abindingcontractbetweenapparelcompaniesandglobal
andBangladeshiunions,signedbyover200brandsandretailers
worldwide,thatwouldrequirebrandstotakeresponsibilityforsafetyintheir
subcontractedfactoriesinameaningfulwaytotransformthegarment
industryfromdeathtrapstosafeworkplaces.
