Therearecertaincharacteristicsforexample,voicepatterns,temperament,nervous
habits,anddominancetendenciesthatcanallcomefromhereditywhichcaninfluence
one'spersonalityandintellectualdevelopment.

2.Selfisthesenseofwhoweare,itishowweuseouruniquewaystosocialinteract
withothers.Itissomethingthatdoesnothaverealexistenceandchangesaswelearn
moreaboutourselves.Thewayweinteractwithothersiswhatmakesusourself,for

theyusuallyseparatetheboysandthegirls.Thegirlsaretaughttoplaywithgirltoys
onlyandwithgirls.Boysontheotherhandaretaughttoplaywiththeboysandwithboy
toysonlyaswell.Thisishowgenderrolesarecreatedsinceyouareborn.Technology
hasinfluencedthesocializationprocessinmanyways.Noweverywhereyougoyou
seechildren,adults,adolescents,andseniorscommunicatingthroughtechnology.With
technologyaroundpeopleareforgettingofhowtosocializewithothersbecausethey
aresousedtotalkingthroughcomputer,cellphone,etc.Youdontinteractthesame
withthepersonwhenyouhavethemfacetoface.

5.Totalinstitutionsisaninstitutionthatregulatesallaspectsofapersonslifeundera
singleauthority.Itislikeamajorchangethathappensinsomebodyslife.TheFirsttrait

togotoafacilityforolderpeoplesotheirfamilieswon'thavetocareforthem,butthere
isalsoelderlypeoplethathavetheirlifesettlewiththeirhomeandtheir
needs.Disengagementtheoryishowelderlypeoplewannadisengagefromsociety
becausetheyfeeltheyareolder.Elderlypeoplefeelthatbecausetheyaregettingolder
anddeathisapproachingitforcesthemtodropmostoftheirsocialroles.Intheother
handactivetheorysuggeststhatthoseelderlypeoplewhoremainactiveandsocially
involvedwillhaveimprovedqualityoflife.Theywillfeelmorealiveandyoungerthan
ever.Beingactivewillhelpthemforgetabouttheagingandcanreducesomehealth
problemslikefallingintodepression.Ifeelasolutiontoageismistoconnectwiththem
more.Usyoungadultsshouldprovidethehelpandthecaretheyneed,sothatwecan
beabletochangetheirwayofthinking.Myopinionaboutelderlypeopleisthattheylove
tosocializebutthere'speoplethatdon'tlikesocializingwiththemthatcausesthemto

dropmostoftheirsocialroles.ThatswhyIthinksocializingwiththemwithbring
positivesolutionsforageism.
