John Stuart Mill

1806 - 1873

An individual is free to do whatever he wants,

as long as he does not hurt another person.
This affirmation about freedom is very important because
it means that we can do whatever we want, bearing in mind
that our limit is someone else's freedom.
But how do we know if everything we want is good for us?
We have to know the difference between good and bad, in
order to take advantage of our freedom.
