o Power through horticulture therapy

denied in prison
o Inmates can learn to work:

o as a team & develop social connection working to
achieve a common goal = contribution to larger

o Inmates can develop an education in ecological justice = real
skills outside of prison

o CCCs & BALs:
o As a collaborative effort students will utilize their problemsolving and conflict resolutions skills to organize and design a
proposal
o We will make explicit connections between caring for people and
cultural groups that are marginalized in our society (reflective of
our prison populations) to connections to the environment
