Set Design Sketches:

PIPPIN

This is a set I designed for Pippin. This concept is a combination of the revival's theme of circus
with medieval architecture (The castle towers, arched doorways, and arched windows). The
centerpiece of the set is a rotating circular platform. The platform efficiently and uniquely
transports actors and set pieces onto the stage.

CABARET

This is a hand sketch of a set for Cabaret. The set is a transformed warehouse. The centerpiece
of the set is a fireman's pole. To the left and right of the pole are cargo nets for actors to climb
on. Underneath the elevated platform is a transparent drape which masks the orchestra. On the
upper platform, there is an exit, 3 industrial windows and two sets of crates. Each crate is big
enough to hold a person. Actors can come out of the crates.
