Good Friday / Resurrection Sunday
Although we do not have one every year, we
will once again be offering a Good Friday
reflection service at 7PM in the evening. Come
prepare your heart for the Resurrection to
follow on Sunday. Take time to reflect on
why Jesus went to the cross / what it cost
Him / and why it benefitted us.
On Easter / Resurrection Sunday we
will offer two worship services (9:30 or
11:00), each with our Childrens Worship
Choir performing as part of the lineup
(later in the 1st, earlier in the 2nd).
In between services at around 10:30
we will have a huge outdoor Easter Egg
hunt with gifts for the children. We will also
have a finger-food reception for all in the

foyer at the same time. Bring your children and

grandchildren and join in the fun.
Easter is also one those times when
unchurched people consider coming. Who could
you invite to come with you?

Engaging
We are off and running here at our new location. One of our
first Sundays we bid farewell to Sheila (see above) as she is now
part of a new church plant geared to college students in the
South Bend area.
New people have been stopping in for a visit and our core
folks have been doing their best to make all feel welcome. We
are maintaining some of our traditional calendar traditions, such
as the tubing party below, and ramping up for a newer one Pastor Efrims Men on a Mission.
These are good times to commit to FCC as we discern ways
to engage in our new community. You are invited to be a part of
the legacy we are creating in this new site :-)
