Attendance and Make-up Work

As a parent, I know that you want to
see your child succeed. Your responsibility is to make sure that your
child is present at school so that your
child will receive better grades and
will not miss out on valuable instruction time. If your child does miss
school for any reason, here are some
things to keep in mind:

Absences will be recorded and an

excessive number of absences
will be problematic.

Missed work will be kept for your

student in a folder during the day
that he or she is absent. This
folder and work inside should be
completed and turned in within 2
days following the absence.

Late work will be accepted, but

will be subject to a 10% grade reduction for each day late.

What will I expect from your student?

A positive attitude
A strong work ethic
Respect for me
Respect for other students
Respect for the school
Diligence in completing home-
