sketch for a celestial object painting.

the page and resembles the source

object in the solar system and then write a 1page typed research paper about it.

Students in Dr. Browns class will have to
propose to do something visually that realates
to what they are learning.

Show images of objects in solar systemwrite
words on board (planet names, nebulas spiral
galaxies, etc.)

Students can research images to paint (must be
printed by end of class) or can ask me to print
an image (will not be color)

Do a sketch of chosen piece

create luminosity and transparency with


both acrylic and watercolor. TSW know
this when he/she employs one of these
techniques in his/her painting.

balanced regardless of the side its turned
on.

finished with careful, neat painting strokes
and not tears or folds in the paper.

about ceramics. TSW know this after
he/she has said 3 or more strong
