STRATEGIC PLANNING PRIORITIES FOR YEAR 1 (2015-16)

Strategy I: We will establish systems in which


everyone in our district has the opportunity and
skills to sustain and advance our culture
of excellence.

Action Plan 1: Training: District provides adequate


time and resources within the calendar year for
differentiated innovative professional development
and collaboration focused on innovation.

Action Plan 2: We build and sustain school


communities that prepare students for life.

Action Plan 3: Facilities: While determining


future expansion and facility needs and upgrades,
SSSD creates space for innovative, experiential and
individualized learning options. (STEM, Thinking
Labs, Maker Spaces, etc.)

Action Plan 3: All students are engaged


and challenged in the pursuit of academic
excellence.
Strategy II: We will facilitate engagement of
individuals, families and organizations in the
community to build partnerships that enhance
the educational experience of our students.

community will maintain an interactive
database that would facilitate partnerships
between academic and community
stakeholders.
Action Plan 3: Schools serve as an active communication and enrollment source for key services
and available resources within the community.
Strategy III: We will provide individualized,
experiential and innovative learning
opportunities for all students.
