Each of us who visited the US once has seen that Americans have no idea of geography, know
hardly anything about other countries.
The reason: the school system is probably the worst in the world, the lowest level.
If they know anything at all, then only the typical clichs of the Hollywood movies.
Almost every Swiss who has been in America and said, I come from Switzerland, got in response, ah
from where ABBA comes from, or where the Vovo is built, or yeah, the IKEA furniture.
How 'Switzerland' is confused with 'Sweden' is beyond me.
Oh, because both country names starting with 'S', is my guess.
Quite bad if news channels make this grotesque error.
CNN is famous for this and I have often shown their gaffe.

This time, CNN has announced in its newscast:

'Australia is building a fence at the border with Slovenia'.

Beyond the geographical error, this is no news but aged cheese, ancient history.
The border fence to Slovenia was - (a desperate attempt in order to control the refugee crisis) already planned by the Austrian government in October 27, 2015 and
completed shortly after the announcement.
The utter ignoramuses in CNN have confused 'Austria' with 'Australia',
sterreich with Australia and dished up their few remaining consumers
'news', older than dirt.
You have to imagine how many 'professional journalists' must there be

involved, all of which have no idea and have done these blunders.
Slovenia has a border with Australia ?
There is the person who picked up the message from a news agency.
Then someone formulated the message, shortened it for the news show and writes the headline over
it.
This text goes to a proofreader and head of production, which releases the message.
Then it is incorporated into the program, to create wallpapers and subtitles.
The text of the message will be recorded in the teleprompter, and the procedure laid down exactly.
The newscaster studies the text of the message before transmission, because the proper emphasis
and pronunciation.

And no one pays attention for this nonsense ?
This blonde teleprompter-reader and all other does not notice this eye-catcher - Australia is an island
continent, is entirely surrounded by the sea and has zero border with any country ?
And where is located Slovenia and where Australia ?
Exactly on the other side of the earth.
A greater distance, there is not.
But this brainless talking doll reads just everything without thinking, whether she may agree what
was prescribed on the teleprompter by her peers.

What is but the self-promotion of CNN ? 'Most Trusted Name In News'.
CNN is generally regarded as a serious and competent news channel.
Politicians rely on what they learn from there.
The TV consumers adopt the news as proclaimed there to be the truth.
Yes when CNN says it, it must be true.
Since they completely uncritically and thoughtlessly swallow everything they are all misinformed.
They register a hoax that may influence their opinion and consequent actions.
CNN is not the only news channel, which makes such blunders.
The American broadcasters anyway, but also in Europe, including the national TV channels in
Germany, Austria and Suisse.
Every time I hear the news because of enemy observation, I have to shake my head, about the crap
they tell.
Either I double-up laughing, or I get angry.

The ducks they drive every day through the arena and serve up the audience have nothing to do with
the truth and reality absolutely, ABSOLUTELY nothing.
What does this show us one more time ?
Do not just let unfiltered messages that are announced by monkeys disguised with dark suits and
cravats in serious mien or telegenic wifes, flow into your brains.
Think twice what they talk and show you - can you ever agree ?
Is it plausible ?
Does Australia have a border with Slovenia ?
Completely absurd, right ?
But so is done very often.
Add to that the deliberately scattered propaganda, the omission of either most important or uplifting
facts as well as the one-sided version of events.

The British newspaper Daily Mail has marked the boundaries of Queensland completely new and

Then Buenos Aires or Sidney may have to focus on a US bombing raid (laughing).

Would not be the first time that the US Air Force bombed the wrong country.
In the IInd World War bombs were dropped on neutral Switzerland.
Here's another sample,
the CNN confused Syria with Afghanistan (hurry up, let us
intervene there and rain our bombs to preserve democracy
and establish freedom, peace, female rights, regime change
and education), err, we already do.

(I wonder that the US did not invade Germany when looking

to the CNN provided maps in 2013)
