Sacrament of Baptism
Baptism is the first step to become a Catholic Christian. Parents who wish to baptize their children agree to raise them in the Catholic faith. For more
information about the requirements for infant baptisms, check the bulletin or call Deacon Dan. Classes are the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Faith
Formation Complex room 13 at 9 am. For Spanish, classes are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Faith Formation Complex room 13.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
God loves us and wants to forgive our sins. You can experience Gods unconditional love through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This
sacrament is available on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:00 am, and on Saturdays, English & Spanish, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, or at other times by
contacting a priest.

Sacrament of Marriage
Please contact the parish a minimum of six months prior to the wedding. Do not set a date prior to your first appointment with a priest or
deacon. If the wedding is to take place elsewhere, please seek advice from our clergy. For more information, please contact the Parish
Office at 702-970-2500.

Funeral Arrangements
Please contact the Parish Office at 702-970-2500 as soon as possible after a death to make the funeral arrangements. Services can be in
English, Spanish or Bilingual.

Our Confirmation Students are having a special retreat on April 3rd here at St. Peter's Parish Center. We call it
special because the NET team consists of 11 young adults from eight different states. They conduct these
Confirmation Retreats across the U.S. They are trained for presenting special retreats and are highly
recommended.

Ordained, April 18, 1980
Was a Benedictine Monk at St. Pius X Abbey in
Pevely, Missouri. Came to the Diocese of Reno/Las
Vegas in July of 1985, Served at St. Peter the
Apostle from 1985 to 1987. Was assigned to Reno in
1987 and served at Little Flower Church, Our Lady
of Wisdom Church and St. Robert Bellermine in
Fernley, NV.
Served as Chancellor of the Diocese In 1994,
Transferred to Las Vegas and worked at: St.
Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and Our Lady of
Las Vegas.
Served at Vocation Director In 2007, transferred to
Diocese of Reno at Our Lady of the Snows Church
where he is assigned as Pastor.
As a Benedictine monk, Fr. Tony gave various parish
missions and retreats at the Abbey as well as in
various cities.

PRAYER OF HIS HOLINESS POPE FRANCIS FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY JUBILEE OF

MERCY

Lord Jesus Christ,

you have taught us to be merciful
like the heavenly Father, and have
told us that whoever sees you sees
Him. Show us your face and we will
be saved. Your loving gaze freed
Zacchaeus and Matthew from being
enslaved by money; the adulteress
and Magdalene from seeking
happiness only in created things;
made Peter weep after his betrayal,
and assured Paradise to the repentant
thief. Let us hear, as if addressed to
each one of us, the words that you
spoke to the Samaritan woman:
If you knew the gift of God!
You are the visible face of the
invisible Father, of the God who
manifests his power above all by
forgiveness and mercy: let the
Church be your visible face in the
world, its Lord risen and glorified.
You willed that your ministers would
also be clothed in weakness in order
that they may feel compassion for
those in ignorance and error: let
everyone who approaches them feel

sought after, loved, and forgiven by

God.
Send your Spirit and consecrate
every one of us with His anointing,
so that the Jubilee of Mercy may be a
year of grace from the Lord, and your
