I.

M/s. Knack presented for discussions the following drawings:


Proposed building adjacent to existing PM Stores. It will be ground + 2
admeasuring 16.0m x 33m= 528m2 (5681ft2)

Ground floor layout has been approved. Drg. No. KT/FRP/CH-F/A.1
Mezzanine floor deck slab drawing no. KT/FRP/CH-MZ/A.1 will be a hall. M/s. Knack
suggested using it as admin + QC building.
Justification:
(i)

All non production personnel and visitors not to go beyond this building.

(ii) Admin. and QC people do not have to cover long distance for using toilets

and canteen (especially in monsoon).


QC expansion and proper planning feasible (accommodating walk in stability

chamber and larger control sample room).


Admin. will have sufficient space for document storage and possibility of expansion

in terms of additional personnel, if need be.


0ther alternatives discussed:
Mezzanine floor can be planned for primary and secondary packing - 9 lines.

Existing PM store could be used as BSR.


Finally concluded to commence the process of constructing the building as designed
as it complies with requirements given by M/s. Fredun Pharma and to ensure that it
is completed latest before monsoon say June).

II.

The utility of mezzanine is open for suggestion, discussion and decision.


Elevation drawing no. KT/FRP/CH-G/A.3. Decided that the height from FFL to bottom
of beam for deck slab will be12 and also the loading factor should be 500kgs/ m 2

Mr. Fredun has requested to plan man material movement between the
buildings (temporary corridor)

ii) Proflex type roof to cover both the buildings is to be considered.


1) Plot layout drawing KT/FRP/PLOT/1, Mr. Fredun enquired as to the location of
septic tank and soak pit.
2) M/s. Knack to mail copies of related drawings to M/s. Fredun Pharma and M/s.
Awhad for preparation of structural estimates by 20 th Feb 16 as subsequently

M/s. Knack to prepare the breakup of major BOQ.
