Objectives
Students will be able to identify the lower case and upper case letter
H by completing a letter H seek and find worksheet with 90 percent
accuracy.
Students will be able to write the letter H by watching me model the
proper way to write the upper case and lower case letter H and then
independently writing them on their worksheet with 90 percent
accuracy.
Assessment For Learning
I will be assessing the students formally to see if the students have
mastered the concepts I am teaching them. I will do a formal
assessment by having them complete a worksheet where they have
to identify and highlight each upper case and lower case letter H in
the seek and find . I will do another formal assessment by having the
children write the upper case and lower case letter H five times (with
five different crayons) on their worksheet.

word and sound out where they hear the W sound.

independently writing them on their worksheet with five different
colored crayons with 90% accuracy.

mastered the concepts I am teaching them. I will do a formal
assessment by having them complete a variety of activities and then
turn them into me. I will do an informal assessment by having the
children write the upper case and lower case E, H,M,K, and W on their
dry erase board and observing if they were able to correctly write it.
