Peter Roberts Jr. - “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of the sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he
meditates day and night.” Peter Roberts Jr.! It is our indeed privilege today to
introduce to you the speaker of the hour, and a man of God.

Peter Roberts Jr., son of Peter Sr. and Olga Roberts, was born in Brooklyn, NY.
Taken out his mother’s womb on the 24th day of the 9th month in the year
1992. Born and raised in one of New York’s largest city’s, Brooklyn, did not deter
him of being true to himself and to his God. With God’s help Peter avoided the
pitfalls of drugs, gangs, and crimes. He is a product of Christian Education.

His early childhood education began at the New Life Seventh-Day Adventist
Nursery School in the Northeastern Conference. Following a stellar elementary
and junior high school career, Peter now attends Takoma Academy, where he is
currently the Student Council Pastor and will be attending college next year. He
is currently attending the Seabrook Seventh- Day Adventist Church in Lanham,
MD. Peter is very active in the church. He is the Assistant Leader of the
Multimedia Department and a Junior Deacon. Peter was reborn at his eighth
grade graduation on June 3, 2006 at the Takoma Park Seventh-Day Adventist
Church. He plans to attend Oakwood University to study theology.

Our speaker today was chosen to bring an ex to Jesus of God word, because
what he exemplifies. And this poem highlights his strengths: “A strong man
might work out everyday to keep his body in shape, but Peter kneels in prayer to
keep his soul in shape. A strong man isn’t afraid of anything, but Peter shows
courage in the midst of fear. A strong man would not let anyone get the best of
him, but Peter Roberts Jr. gives the best of himself to everyone. A strong man
makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future, but Peter Roberts Jr. realizes
life mistakes can also be God’s blessings and capitalizes on them. A strong man
walks short-footedly, but Peter Roberts Jr. knows God will catch him when he
falls. A strong man wears the look of confidence on his face, but Peter Roberts
Jr. wears the look of grace. A strong man has faith that he is strong enough for
the journey, but Peter Roberts Jr. has faith that it is in the journey that he’ll
become strong.”

Simply put, Peter Roberts Jr. is young, black, and saved. He keeps it real, He
tells it straight, even to us as a friend. He loves the Lord and is sold out for Jesus
Christ.
