On March 7, 2016, the MBTA Fiscal and Management Control Board voted to adopt a fare change for the

MBTA system. This change will go into effect at the start of service
on July 1, 2016.
In addition to the fares listed below, the MBTA is making the following changes to fare-related policies:
* Eliminating the Ten-Ride paper ticket option on Commuter Rail. Ten-ride tickets will remain available via the mTicket app.
* With a Rapid Transit CharlieCard fare, riders may transfer from Local Bus to Subway to Local Bus.
