COURSE UPDATE
I am the new instructor for Principles of Business & Finance. The course expectations and
content have remained the same. This syllabus is an update on how to contact me and
where students can find the course information. I am very excited to be a part of the
Ardrey Kell faculty.

Behavioral Expectations
Come to class prepared.
Enter/Exit the Classroom in an orderly fashion. Do not gather by the door!
Sit in your ASSIGNED seat. Each day we will begin at the desk, and then transition to the
computers. Each student will have an assigned desk seat and an assigned computer seat. No
computer games.
Do not talk while I am talking.
No electronics.

CTE Department Late/Missing Work Policy:


The policies below apply to all courses and teachers within the CTE Department at Ardrey Kell
High School. "Work" is categorized as assignments, homework, class work, projects, essays, and
papers. Please note that the work will be evaluated and reductions assessed according to the
penalties listed below. Students are accountable for turning in late work regardless of the
number of absences that follow the original due date.
Work NOT turned in will result in a zero.
Work turned in one day late will result in a 10% reduction of initial grade.
Work turned in two days late will result in a 20% reduction of initial grade.
Work turned in three days OR later will result in a 50% reduction of initial grade.
ALL late work must be submitted prior to the midterm or final exam.

In order for everyone involved in the course to be successful, we must all make a commitment to
