Unit 1: Baseball
Modified Game: Big Bubbas Batball.
Set up:
Three cones spread equal distances (20-30 ft. apart) in a straight line
from home plate.
Baseball bat or Softball bat.
Two teams of equal skill levels.
Pitcher and Catcher.

Facility:
Any large field outside.

Outcomes:
Batting power increase
Skill development in catching

Rules and Regulations:


Game starts with one batter up and the
rest of the batting team cheering.
Pitcher underhand tosses the ball to the
Batter who tries to hit the ball as far as
possible.
If the ball lands between the first and second

Cones, then the batting team receives 100 points. Between the second and
third cones is 200 points, and past the third cone is 300.
Each batter hits once, trying to get the highest amount of points for
their team, and then gets back in line until everyone has been up to bat.
If the ball is caught by an outfielder, or hits the ground before the first
cone, the batting team receives zero points.
Three outs/all batters hit, and the teams switch sides.

Modified Game: Safe Zone Softball.

Two equal teams.

Facility:
Outdoor field (Preferred)
Gymnasium

Outcomes:
Increase in batting skill.
Increase in base running skill.
Increase in fly ball/ground ball recovery.

Rules and Regulations:


Game starts when pitcher tosses the
Volleyball to the batter.
Batter must hit the ball and make it to
the safe area without being tagged out by
an outfielder holding the ball.
Once in the safe area, batters may wait.
Watch out though, only three batters are
allowed in the safe area at a time.
Batter is out if ball is caught in the air.
Teams switch once three outs are made,
or if the entire batting team hits.
Batters receive one point for making it into the safe area, and then
back to the batting area.

Unit 2: Kickball
Modified Game: Mat Ball.
Set Up:
Two equal teams.
Three gymnastics mats.
One kickball/gator ball.

Facilities:
Indoor gym. (Preferred)
Outdoor field.

Outcomes:
Increase kicking power/accuracy.
Increase short sprint power.
Increase Catching/Throwing ability.

Rules and Regulations:


Batters up to bat scores by touching each mat in order twice.
