Job Duties and Responsibilities

Formulate technical sketches, blueprints of electrical systems, or
topographical maps to secure that installation and operations are up to
standard and customer needs
Design, implement, sustain, or advance electrical equipment, components,
or products for different purposes
arrange data and write reports about current or likely electrical engineering
studies or projects.
design or implement research procedures that employ principles of
electrical theory to engineering projects.
Design electrical networks or units that diminish electric energy
requirements

Preparation for managerial positions usually requires
working under the guidance of a more experienced
engineer. A Masters or Doctorate can be obtained but
are usually only needed if you want to go into a
management position.
