Sunrise Pipe Ceremony - 5:30 am


As the new day dawns, a sacred fire will be lit to begin the historic work that we
are collectively called upon to do. Our sacred pipes will be gathered and loaded to
thank our Creator for all of creation and to ensure that our ancestors are present
and leading the work that we are embarking on.
MBHR is comprised of Indian Residential School survivors; affected family members
and church and community representatives.

Welcome Ceremonies: 10:30 – Noon


Keynote Speaker: Honourable Justice Murray Sinclair,
Chair, Truth and Reconciliation Canada

Community Lunch: Noon – 1:00 pm


Under a Listening Tent: 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Music, stories and expressions of healing and reconciliation.
