RE:

Dual-Frame (20% Cell) Survey among GOP Primary LVs in KS-1

Congressman Tim Huelskamp is well-positioned in the Republican primary for

Kansas First Congressional District. Voters believe Congressman Huelskamp
deserves re-election and applaud his record of standing up for the conservative
principles that he promised to uphold in Washington.

A 65%-majority of GOP Primary voters approve of the job that Huelskamp is

doing representing the First District in Congress (vs. just 23% disapprove).
Republican voters appreciate the fact that Congressman Huelskamp has held
the line against new taxes and fought against wasteful spending.

In the head-to-head ballot test, an overwhelming 61% of GOP Primary voters

back Huelskamp, significantly outpacing his opponents Roger Marshall (11%)
and Alan LaPolice (6%). Huelskamp receives an even larger vote share (64%)
among the agricultural community.

Congressman Huelskamp begins the race with a strong foundation of support

among his partisans, and has a 3:1 positive image recognition: 61% favorable,
20% unfavorable.

Despite launching his campaign in February 2015 and spending hundreds of

thousands of dollars since then, 72% of first district voters have never heard
of Roger Marshall (an additional 12% say they have heard of, no opinion).
